A curated, unrivalled R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall experience that feels like your best night out in a R&B club or concert, elevated for the most important day in your life.
NOT YOUR TYPICAL "WEDDING DJ"
Before stepping into wedding events and launching DJ Darren Williams Events & Entertainment. I was already a well established club & festival R&B DJ with valuable experience being versatile performing in Hull and across the UK and Ibiza at some of the legendary nightclubs and venues. Holding long term DJ residencies down while collaborating with high profile trusted clients including Leeds United Football Club, Hull Kingston Rovers Rugby League Club, 49ers Enterprises & P&O Ferries. I was a resident Dj for one of the biggest R&B events in the uk with global recognition in 'ROADBLOCK" a brand who brought the likes of Ja Rule, Ne-Yo, Bobby V, 112, Next, Cassidy, City High, Lemar, Beverley Knight, Damage, Big Brovas to the Yorkshire Region. I've spent over 2 decades live mixing in front of thousands of people and all different types of events and venues. This has taught me how to read any crowd and keep the energy flawless from the first drop to the last track.
This is the level of expertise I now bring to weddings: A DJ who can seamlessly move from 90's & 2000"s R&B, Hip-Hop and Dancehall to a blend of Soul, Funk, Disco & Motown classics to high energy floor fillers. all intentionally designed around your taste and vision.
WHAT DO I OFFER AS A DJ?
Personally i don’t want to be branded as a “Typical Wedding DJ” you’d look to book 15+ years ago. I believe them cheesy weddings are a thing of the past. Today’s weddings are like “The Super Bowl” and your event of the year. People wanting there special night to reflect on them as a couple. I have the ability create something different. with my top spec equipment provided. I aim to bring that premium feel with a club like atmosphere mixed with my passion and energy as a rare R&B/Hip-Hop Wedding DJ but with a cool and fun twist.
With my years of experience in all types of events DJing at various venues and I’ve built a proud reputation specialising in mixing the best Old School R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall taking it back to the great 90’s & 2000’s era. If you see your special day dancing the night away to the likes of Chris Brown, Usher, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Sean Paul, Beyoncé, 50 Cent, Biggie alongside all your favourite classics then look no further. I’m very much still an Old School DJ mixed with a sprinkle of modern music. I’m also very versatile and have access to most genres of music to cater for all including Soul, Motown, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, Chart, Party, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Reggae, Latin, UK Garage, Funky House, 90’s Dance Classics and so on. Just all-round feel-good music to create the best vibe with your family and friends making memories to last a lifetime on your special day.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
My services are seamless and professional that takes total pressure off yourself so the experience is enjoyable as you expect. Also I offer a lot of additional services including building a dedicated folder of music up to around 30 of your favourite songs I can mix into my dj set just for your event to make it that more special or any requests for certain music genres or special songs you are wanting including your 1st dance song, cutting the cake or entrance song or even background music for when you’re dining. These requests can be sent over in advance and will make sure I have all this available to play in my DJ Set throughout the event along with any additional shout out requests or special messages. I alway offer a one to one meet up in personal or via zoom call so you know get to know me on a personal level.. We can discuss your expectations and what you do want and don’t want to work together so all this can be arranged in good time to make your day as special and memorable as possible. Should you wish to book any additional entertainment or artists such as (Bands, Singers, Sax Players etc.) to play alongside myself. I’m more than happy to work with another artist as I’m experienced with this too. I’m also happy to pass my contact details on to the venue you choose so we can communicate and ensure the smooth planning of your big day or event. I take pride in all this.

I know how stressful wedding planning can be. There’s so much think about on your special day. It should be effortless, Memorable and full of moments that you’ll cherish forever. I know each couple is unique and every wedding is catered differently each couples requirements.
If you're a couple who love their R&B, Hip-Hop and Dancehall music. Remembers the good old days attending your favorite R&B events and parties back in the day, and you want your wedding to feel like them best nights out you used to have, elevated for the most important day in your life. This is where I come in.
I'm more than just a Dj. I'm an all round performer trusted by many premium brands and high-profile clients to deliver the absolute best vibes and energy. INSURANCE POLICY & TESTING (VENUE REQUIREMENTS) INCLUDING DBS CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
- I hold full up to date DJ insurance which includes public liability (I carry a copy on me at all times)
- P.A.T (Portable Appliance Testing)
* All my DJ equipment is rigorously tested to meet the highest standards. all is tested and up to date
* Certificates of insurance and P.A.T testing can be provided to yourself or the venue via email upon request
* I can also provide an up to date clean DBS Criminal Record Check(Certificate available upon request)
THE DJ DARREN WILLIAMS PREMIUM UK WEDDING EXPERIENCE - Starting from £950
This experience is for couples marrying within the UK who want a reception that feels effortless, stylish and unforgettable. The complete and ultimate package with everything provided from sound and lighting ect.
This Includes:
- Up to a 5 hour Dj set of seamless high energy music curated exclusively around your taste(extensions to this is available by arrangement when booking)
- A bespoke soundtrack of 90's & 2000's R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall music including full access to my Serato DJ Pro Music Library
- an upgrade to the use of Vinyl turntables for the event making the experience that much more authentic and old school (looks great on wedding pictures and videos) or my top spec Rev 7 DJ Controller for preference
- Professional premium sound system including top spec QSC speakers and 18' subwoofers with fully programmed lighting show including 6 moving heads giving you that club style atmosphere that can fill rooms from 300+
- Fully customised large DJ booth or a smaller compact one depending on requirements
- 2 Wireless microphones for your use to communicate with your guests(speeches etc)
- Smoke/Haze machine with required fluid(optional depending on venue policy)
- I offer a basket of glow sticks that can be used on the night elevate the dance floor experience
- A professional one to one consultation meeting in person for a coffee or a zoom call to introduce each other and to go over all the finer details of the event and how you vision your night including the music policy on what you want and don't want.
- Full planning including set up and travel arrangements handled for you so you can relax and enjoy the experience
- I have a 360 camera that can catch some really cool moments of the event that I'm happy to share with you
- Recommendations of additional artists including Saxophone players, singers, bands, bongos dancers, Fire breathers, stilt walkers etc including photo booths and people I've collaborated with on previous events(Once booking is secure)
- Travel expenses to be added depending on event location
THE DJ DARREN WILLIAMS ONLY WEDDING EXPERIENCE in the UK from £700
This experience is for venues that provides everything for the client(the couple) from the full set up including, Dj booth, sound system, lighting, Microphones etc and all insurances and public liability. I just arrive to plug in and play off the system provided.
This Includes:
- Up to a 5 hour Dj set of seamless high energy music curated exclusively around your taste(extensions to this is available by arrangement when booking)
- A bespoke soundtrack of 90's & 2000's R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall music including full access to my Serato DJ Pro Music Library
- My top spec rev 7 DJ controller If required
- A professional one to one consultation meeting in person for a coffee or a zoom call to introduce each other and to go over all the finer details of the event and how you vision your night including the music policy on what you want and don't want.
- Full planning including my travel arrangements handled for you so you can relax and enjoy the experience
- I have a 360 camera that can catch some really cool moments of the event that I'm happy to share with you
- Recommendations of additional artists including Saxophone players, singers, bands, bongos dancers, Fire breathers, stilt walkers etc including photo booths and people I've collaborated with on previous events(Once booking is secure)
- Travel expenses to be added depending on event location
THE DJ DARREN WILLIAMS ONLY WEDDING EXPERIENCE in Europe & Worldwide from £1500
This experience is for client(the couple) to provide everything at the venue from the full set up including, Dj booth, sound system, lighting, Microphones etc and all insurances and public liability. I just arrive to plug in and play off the system provided.
This Includes:
- Up to a 5 hour Dj set of seamless high energy music curated exclusively around your taste(extensions to this is available by arrangement when booking)
- A bespoke soundtrack of 90's & 2000's R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall music including full access to my Serato DJ Pro Music Library
- My top spec rev 7 DJ controller If required
- A professional one to one consultation meeting via zoom call to introduce each other and to go over all the finer details of the event and how you vision your night including the music policy on what you want and don't want.
- Full planning including my travel arrangements handled for you so you can relax and enjoy the experience
- I have a 360 camera that can catch some really cool moments of the event that I'm happy to share with you
- Travel and accommodation expenses to be added depending on event location
THE DJ DARREN WILLIAMS "VIP" PREMIUM UK WEDDING EXPERIENCE from £1500
This experience is for couples marrying within the UK who want a reception that feels effortless, stylish and unforgettable.
With the full evening of entertainment taken care of including myself as the DJ and my full premium sound and lighting system provided with all insurances. With added entertainment from a saxophone player, Bongo player to a singer or live band. Everything from a Photo Booths, back drops to live dancers. Basically everything all taken care of by me so you can relax and enjoy a full night of entertainment.
This Includes:
- Up to a 5 hour Dj set of seamless high energy music curated exclusively around your taste(extensions to this is available by arrangement when booking)
- A bespoke soundtrack of 90's & 2000's R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall music including full access to my Serato DJ Pro Music Library
- an upgrade to the use of Vinyl turntables for the event making the experience that much more authentic and old school (looks great on wedding pictures and videos) or my top spec Rev 7 DJ Controller for preference

- Added to the entertainment includes anything from Saxophone players, singers, bands, bongos dancers, Fire breathers, stilt walkers etc including photo booths and backdrops all booked, panned and taken care of.
- Final price will depend on entertainment requirements.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Travel expenses and accommodation to be included depending on the event venue and location.
- (No travel expenses will be added locally to the Hull area)
- The "up to 5 hours Dj set" comes standard whether you require just 3 or 4 hours at the event. I still offer up to 5 hours in my package. But additional hours can be added. Please let me know the requirements when enquiring so the price can be adjusted accordingly.
- A 50% deposit(non refundable) is required to secure your date with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 28 days before your event date. Alternatively you can pay the balance in full as a one of payment (50% of this is none refundable in the event of a cancelation)
- Limited dates available throughout 2026 and 2027 are on a first come first served basis (Via Bank transfer or cash payment only with receipts or invoices available upon request.
- Payment plans available with an agreed deposit and regular payment plan(50% of full balance agreed is none refundable under the terms above)
- Any booking within 28 days of the event will require the full balance to secure the date.
- All prices are priced at the date of enquiry and are not fixed. increases can occur due to inflation etc.
- If full payment is not received unfortunately I will not attend the event on the given date.
- If any of my equipment is damage at the event by one of the guests they will be liable for costs of the damage.
"BOOK IN CONFIDENCE"
- In the very unlikelihood I have to cancel the booking a full refund will be issued on any payments made including the none refundable deposit. I will also help you find a replacement DJ through my recommendations.
- For all UK Premium Experiences I will require a minimum of 3 hours to set up at the venue before the event start time (this is not taken from your the dj set times) This assures a smooth transition.
- Another piece of mind is I always arrive early and in good time to my events to ensure everything is set up and a full sound and lighting check is complete before your guests start to arrive. I handle all the technical details so you don't have to. I'm happy to liaise with the venue and share contact details so we can work together around time slots and planning.
- As a passionate DJ I love to record footage at events for my business branding and social media platforms. From DJ shots to crowd energy and the venue. I will always ask permission first and discuss this with you prior to the event whether you're happy for this to happen or you want your event to remain private.
